The engine knows what each acquirer charges for this method, BIN, network, and amount band — and picks the cheapest one eligible to process it.
Rules you can actually read
Priority-ordered conditions on payment method, BIN, card or IP country, amount range, currency, and bank code. No black-box scoring you can't explain to finance.
Live health scoring
When no rule matches, acquirers are ranked on success rate, error rate, latency, circuit state, and per-minute volume — recalculated continuously.
Cascading failover
A failed attempt cascades through a ranked fallback chain, skipping unhealthy acquirers, so a degraded rail doesn't become a lost sale.
Smart retries
Idempotent retries with exponential backoff and per-acquirer circuit breakers recover soft declines and timeouts.
